The company
Aléa Films is a production company created in 2011 by Stéphane PLAT and Léa RINALDI, which produces short and full-length films of documentary and fiction. In latin, alea means “dice”. It is the metaphor of the challenge of directing a movie in complete immersion with its protagonists, with a part of chance due to the meetings and the present moment. Movies produced by Aléa Films mainly deal with the discovery of other cultures, social problematics, arts and music.
